SOATB Tool and Parts Attendant

Tool room attendant supporting SOATB aviation tool room operations.

Responsibilities

• Assists the toolroom supply technician.
• Receives, stores, and issues hand tools, dies, test kits, consumable supplies, special tools, and Test, Measurement, Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE).
• Inspects and inventories kits and tools before issuing or receiving items back into the tool room.
• Conducts periodic inventories of the tool room hand receipt.
• Will issue and receive equipment and supplies using customer provided tracking software.
• Tracks scheduled maintenance and inspections of Aircraft Ground Support Equipment (AGSE) in customer software programs and completes all forms and records IAW service guidance and site policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance. Interim secret required to start.
• Previous automotive/truck/aviation tool room experience desired.
• Must be able to pass a basic physical to operate ground support equipment and operate a vehicle on the flight line.
• Must have a driver's license to be certified to operate customer equipment such as forklifts and GSA vehicles.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
