Title Human Resources Generalist Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Description
RiVidium Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to be responsible for independently managing employee-facing HR matters across employee relations, leave and accommodation administration, compliance, onboarding and offboarding, and employee engagement. This position will support a government contracting environment and requires a strong understanding of federal employment requirements, confidentiality, documentation, and HR best practices.

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented HR professional who can manage sensitive employee matters with minimal day-to-day direction, conduct thorough investigations, prepare clear and defensible documentation, respond to employee inquiries, and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and federal contractor requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently conduct and document employee relations investigations involving workplace concerns, policy violations, harassment, discrimination, performance issues, and other employee complaints, including interviews, evidence review, findings, and recommended next steps.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential investigation records and prepare clear, fact-based investigation summaries and other documentation as appropriate.
  • Partner with management and leadership to address employee relations matters, including performance management, corrective action, and separations, consistently and in accordance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
  • Identify employee relations trends and recommend appropriate actions to mitigate risk and improve the employee experience.
  • Independently process and administer FMLA leave requests, including eligibility determinations, required notices, certifications, recertifications, and return-to-work documentation.
  • Independently manage ADA accommodation requests and engage in the interactive process with employees, managers, and other appropriate stakeholders.
  • Maintain confidential medical and leave-related documentation in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Track leave and accommodation cases and ensure timely follow-up and appropriate documentation.
  • Coordinate the intake, fact gathering, documentation, and response support for EEOC charges and related employment matters, working with leadership and council as appropriate.
  • Maintain organized records and documentation necessary to support the company's response to employment-related claims and agency inquiries.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and federal contractor requirements.
  • Support federal contractor compliance activities, including OFCCP-related recordkeeping and audit preparation, as assigned.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding activities, including new-hire paperwork, HR systems, benefits coordination, orientation, and required documentation.
  • Conduct or coordinate employee orientation and ensure employees receive information regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and expectations.
  • Conduct exit interviews and document feedback to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Respond to employee HR inquiries in a timely, professional, and confidential manner.
  • Support employee satisfaction and engagement initiatives, including surveys, feedback collection, and analysis of employee concerns.
  • Assist with offboarding activities, including exit documentation and coordination with appropriate internal departments.
  • Ensure HR transactions, HRIS updates, and personnel documentation are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
  • Support HR audits and compliance reviews.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience independently processing and administering ADA accommodations and FMLA claims.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience conducting and documenting employee relations investigations, including findings and recommended corrective action.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting EEOC charges or comparable employment-related claims, including fact gathering and response documentation.
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple cases and competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and meet statutory and internal deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with OFCCP compliance, affirmative action recordkeeping, and government contractor HR requirements.
  • 3-5 years of experience conducting employee onboarding and orientation.
  • 3-5 years of experience conducting exit interviews and supporting employee satisfaction initiatives.
  • 3-5 years of experience responding to and processing employee HR inquiries.
The annual salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000.

The listed salary range represents a general guideline; however, RiVidium Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. At RiVidium Inc. it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
