This opportunity supports an Enterprise IT contract with a team of SIGDEV Analysts, Systems Engineers, Junior Engineers, Telecommunication Technical Analysts and System Administrators, responsible for the architecture, engineering, integration, operations, maintenance and sustainment of multi-level Enterprise IT environment.
Job Description:
The SIGINT Technical Analyst provides information to support defining, developing, and documenting operational, maintenance, and logistical concepts leading to the development of prototypes, proofs of concept, modeling and simulation, system requirements, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs). Operate, demonstrate, and train on current or prototype intelligence, information assurance, or cybersecurity systems under test or in use in field or garrison locations. Gather collection statistics and optimize collection systems. Document operations in daily logs and collection summaries. Contribute to technical studies, analyses, and evaluations of technical mission needs and make recommendations to support decision-makers. Must have in-depth understanding of the SIGINT system, export issues, and collection and processing facilities. Must be capable of maintaining extensive interaction/working relationships among various representatives of the government.
The SIGINT Technical Analyst Level 2 shall possess the following capabilities:
  • Operate collection and collection management equipment in accordance with user and position manuals.
  • Support Mission Management and Collection Management activities.
  • Support the implementation of collection-tasking strategies.
  • Provide operational assistance to users during upgrades/installation of new collection systems.
  • Participate in discussion with Offices of Primary Concern and customers to promote dissemination of accurate collection assessments.
  • Respond to collection requirements.
  • Support the review of collection priorities submitted by specific organizations.
  • Gather collection related statistics and document operational activities in daily logs and collection summaries.
  • Optimize collection activities in accordance with SOPs and other guidance.
  • Operate, demonstrate, and provide information training on current or prototype intelligence systems, either deployed or in test.
  • Provide technical assistance necessary to meet collection-tasking strategies.
  • Conduct discussions between various TOPIs and other customers ensuring accurate collection assessments are received/shared.
  • Participate in the review and validation of collection priorities submitted by specific organizations.
  • Support technical development of junior personnel in the area of SIGINT analytical tradecraft.
  • Provide technical direction and technical support for the development of training.
  • Collect, compile, and prepare drafts of information related to characteristics of signals based on identification of signals.
  • Conduct and document all-source research to identify the communications used by targets of interest.
  • Provide collection summary reports, statistics, and metrics via formal and informal communications.
  • Maintain knowledge of site capabilities to include end-to-end data flow to help recognize and define collection problems.

Qualifications:
  • Fourteen (14) years of professional experience supporting a military and/or government cryptologic mission.
  • Professional experience may include mission support as a military or government collector, language or Signal Analyst as it relates to acquiring, identifying, processing, and reporting on electromagnetic emissions.
Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
