Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Manage and modernize operational dataflows using Apache NiFi.
• Process dataflow management requests, develop system requirements, and create architecture diagrams.
• Support dataflow migration from legacy hardware-based systems to virtual cloud environments.
• Maintain operational Linux systems and utilize Elasticsearch and Grafana for monitoring and support.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 10+ years
• Total Compensation: $252k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Review and process Dataflow Management Requests (DMRs) and implement efficient dataflow solutions.
• Create, manage, and rebuild dataflows using Apache NiFi and NiFi Registry.
• Support dataflow modernization and migration initiatives into cloud-based environments.
• Manage and support operational systems that process and maintain critical mission data.
• Develop system architecture diagrams depicting software and system functions.
• Perform software configuration management and software upgrades via Linux command line.
• Utilize tools including Elasticsearch, Grafana, and Zookeeper to monitor and maintain system health.
• Participate in on-call operational support after approximately six months of on-the-job training.
