Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 operational support and platform administration across enterprise Linux environments.
• Sustain and optimize cloud-based analytic platforms leveraging Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo.
• Maintain day-to-day platform stability through automated provisioning, network analysis, and proactive issue diagnosis.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $276k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Support daily operations and maintain uptime of cloud-based enterprise platforms.
• Provide Tier 1 through Tier 3 support for infrastructure and system-level issues, including on-call requirements.
• Troubleshoot operational issues across Linux environments and manage RedHat/CentOS provisioning using kickstart.
• Perform Linux/Unix networking analysis using tools such as nmap and tcpdump.
• Administer DNS configurations, DHCP, and hosts files.
• Support containerized and distributed technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, and Accumulo.
• Monitor system performance and metrics using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Develop automation and configuration management scripts with Ansible, Salt, Python, and Bash.
• Collaborate with engineering teams and track operational tasks using JIRA.
