Specialized Experience: One year (52 weeks) of specialized experience which includes: (1) Formulating comprehensive human capital policies and workforce retention strategies to sustain high-level mission readiness and establish a unified direction for military and civilian personnel; (2) Supervising cross-functional departments and diverse professional teams by establishing performance standards, evaluating regulatory compliance, and managing talent acquisition to ensure equitable and legally compliant personnel practices; and (3) Directing the integration of enterprise-wide business continuity and personnel administrative policies during both standard operations and organizational crises to guarantee continuous personnel accountability.

Additional information
- Serves as the Senior Human Capital Officer for the Military and Civilian Personnel Services Division, USFK, J1.
- Incumbent directs, supervises, and develops plans, programs and policies necessary to manage the U.S. Forces Korea mission with regard to the Command's Personnel Services and Policy and Programs elements.
- Oversee diverse and important command-wide programs.
- Develops comprehensive human capital policies, workforce development programs, and strategies to accomplish the command's mission and support USFK's military and civilian personnel.
- Supervises the directorate activities through subordinate supervisors involving professional, technical and clerical support personnel. In consultation with subordinates, plans overall work operations for the Division.
- Coordinates the work of subordinate branches, sets priorities, establishes objectives and prepares schedules for work completion.
- Collaborates with USFK Staff Directorates to negotiate, decide on and coordinate work related changes affecting the command.
- Oversees command wide personnel administrative policy and processes supporting USFK's mission during armistice and contingency operations.
- Supervises the planning, development, and integration of administrative policies and procedures related to personnel readiness, accountability, augmentation, and mobilization requirements in coordination with USFK components.
- Provides technical advice and guidance to USFK Commanding General, Directors and staff on Federal, Department of Defense and Department of Army policies, rules, principles and procedures related to the J1 mission and program areas.
