Program Overview
FORGE (Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution) is a Space Force modernization effort focused on upgrading the missile warning ground systems that receive, process, and distribute data from military satellites. The program's goal is to improve the speed, reliability, and maintainability of critical national security systems that support missile detection and warning operations.
Job Description
The Systems Engineer will support the development and management of technical requirements for the FORGE program. This individual will work closely with government and contractor engineering teams to define system requirements, support hardware and software design efforts, participate in verification and validation activities, and maintain technical documentation. The role serves as a bridge between mission requirements, engineering teams, and operational users to ensure solutions meet program objectives.
Responsibilities
Develop and decompose system requirements
Support hardware and software design activities
Participate in verification and validation (V&V) efforts
Maintain technical baseline documentation
Coordinate across Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Support engineering process standardization and best practices
Work closely with government systems engineering teams
Compensation:
$88,000.00 to $94,000.00 per year annual salary.
