Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Security Engineer to join our team in Washington, DC. This role involves protecting critical infrastructure and ensuring the security of sensitive information systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement security solutions to protect organizational assets
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures
• Respond to security incidents and coordinate remediation efforts
• Provide technical expertise to other teams and ensure compliance with security standards

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CISM preferred
• Strong understanding of network security, cryptography, and risk management
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with security tools and technologies

Clearance Requirements:
Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required with ability to obtain polygraph.
