Job Description

Full Stack Developer
This role develops, tests, and maintains secure, reliable applications across the full technology stack (front-end, APIs/services, and data). Full stack developers can switch between front-end and back-end development based on requirements and help the team prototype rapidly when needed. This person should be a seasoned, self-motivated, and professional with at least 8 years of hands-on engineering and administration experience in virtualized Information Technology environments.
This position is 100% on-site in Arlington, VA. Occasional, situational travel within the DC-Metro area may be required. 
Primary Responsibilities
• Develop Java based applications using Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Java, and Hibernate technologies.
• Develop front end applications using Ansible, React, jQuery, JSON, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS technologies
• Develop Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) applications using RESTFul, ESB, and Message Queues.
• Develop, document, and implement CI/CD strategy for management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) baseline using Ansible, AWS CloudFormation, and Terraform.
• Experience in using DevOps tools such as GitLab, GitLab CI, Jenkins, JFrog Artifactory or similar Artifactory, Automated testing tools such as Selenium, and Leapwork.
• Experience in provisioning and managing AWS Infrastructure such as VPCs, subnets, availability zones, Firewalls, NACL, Security Groups, and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience in developing applications using AWS Services such as EC2, RDS, Lambda, SNS, SQS, S3, and Directory Services.
• Identify requirements, develop, document, and implement branching strategy to support change management requirements.
• Review, debug, and resolve technical issues throughout all stages of SDLC
• Assist with process development and process improvement for Security Operations to include creation/modification of SOPs, Playbooks, and Work instructions
• Measure effectiveness of process improvement and automation efforts via metrics and KPIs
• Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. 
• Apply coding and testing standards, security testing tools (including ‘fuzzing’ static-analysis code scanning tools), threat modeling, and conducts code reviews.
Basic Qualifications
• U.S. Citizenship and active DoD TS/SCI US Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 12 years of directly relevant technical experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 6+ years' experience with designing, building and modifying standard-alone application software
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing IaC using Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation
• 5+ years' experience developing in an Agile environment.
• 5+ years' experience working in AWS Cloud environment.
• 5+ years' experience working in a Virtual infrastructure
• Proficient in JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, REST API, Java, Visual Studio, Node.js React, JSON, HTML/CSS, XML
• Extensive experience in development, APIs, and scripting language support
• Experience implementing and maintaining services in a CI/CD pipeline
• Experience with Code repositories - i.e. GITLAB
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working Virtual environments
• Experience working in AWS and Azure
• Authoring SOPs, playbooks, work instructions and/or other process document
