Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Implement, outline, and develop robust data engineering and systems engineering solutions within a Linux environment.
• Model complex data transformation routines and document end-to-end data flows supporting large-scale ingestion and routing.
• Provide technical direction across the full systems engineering life cycle and define interface and system requirements under agile frameworks.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 14+ years
• Total Compensation: $290k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Outline, develop, and implement data engineering solutions using NiFi, Linux, and database technologies (MySQL/NoSQL).
• Map, model, and document data transformation routines and flows for structured data types including XML, CSV, and JSON.
• Provide technical direction across the full systems engineering life cycle, from requirements analysis to system decommissioning.
• Define system interfaces regarding origination, destination, stimulus, and software data characteristics.
• Implement comprehensive Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) solutions and perform system trade analyses to optimize operations.
• Ensure configuration management, periodic reviews, and control of evolving hardware and software system baselines.
• Develop system design alternatives considering life cycle costs, reuse, risk, complexity, and growth.
• Utilize Java and Splunk to support data analytics, system monitoring, and performance optimization in an agile environment.
