Job Description

Operations Analyst
Location: On-site/Office
Compensation: 90k-100k annual
Clearance: Top Secret with SCI access

The Operations Research Analyst Provides analytical, program-management, operations, intelligence, and decision-support services to the JTAPIC Program Office. The analyst integrates operational, intelligence, medical, and materiel information to support casualty analysis, program planning, decision-making, and development of products intended to improve Warfighter survivability.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, integrate, analyze, store, and disseminate operational, intelligence, medical, and materiel data.
• Support casualty analysis involving operational incidents and accident events.
• Develop analytical products and decision-support information for JTAPIC leadership and customers.
• Support programming, planning, budgeting, and execution activities.
• Establish performance metrics and measure program and project effectiveness.
• Prepare presentations, executive summaries, white papers, information papers, reports, trip reports, and analytical products.
• Organize and participate in technical meetings, program reviews, conferences, mini-symposia, and briefings.
• Conduct interviews with Wounded Warriors or military units when directed and prepare associated executive summaries.
• Coordinate with JTAPIC Chartered Partners and operational, intelligence, medical, and materiel organizations
• Ensure analytic methodologies and recommendations are aligned with DoD policy, doctrine, and mission requirements.


Qualifications

• Top Secret clearance with SCI access
• Bachelor's Degree
• Military background highly preferred
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience analytical, military operations, intelligence, or operations research experience
• Demonstrated experience in data analysis, metrics and business case analysis
• Ability to prepare analytical reports and brief senior DoD personnel
• Ability to learn and work in DoD classified databases
• Knowledge of DoD operational planning, intelligence, casualty analysis, or mission areas highly preferred
• Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present technical findings to non-technical audiences
