Summary:
The Knowledge Management (KM) Analyst/SME/Trainer provides enterprise KM expertise with a focus on training, knowledge culture, workforce adoption, and organizational learning. This role supports the development and delivery of KM training programs, curricula, orientation materials, job aids, and learning products while also supporting KM analysis, governance, knowledge capture, and continuous improvement activities across the National Guard Enterprise (NGE).

Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 annually.

Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver enterprise KM training, orientation programs, curricula, workshops, and learning products.
- Assess KM training needs and develop learning strategies that support enterprise KM adoption and maturity.
- Develop training materials, job aids, user guides, knowledge products, presentations, and other instructional resources.
- Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended KM training to geographically dispersed audiences.
- Support the development and administration of KM training through Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
- Evaluate training effectiveness, learner engagement, knowledge retention, and adoption, and recommend improvements.
- Support KM knowledge culture initiatives designed to strengthen knowledge sharing, collaboration, organizational learning, and knowledge behaviors.
- Facilitate knowledge capture activities, including interviews, AARs, lessons learned sessions, workshops, and Communities of Practice.
- Support KM maturity assessments and analyze organizational knowledge practices to identify training and adoption gaps.
- Develop KM recommendations and adoption strategies based on stakeholder feedback, assessments, and organizational needs.
- Support the development and maintenance of KM governance materials, standards, processes, and knowledge products.
- Gather KM business requirements and coordinate with stakeholders to identify knowledge-sharing and workforce development needs.
- Support knowledge architecture, taxonomy, metadata, and content lifecycle activities as they relate to training and knowledge adoption.
- Coordinate with KM Analysts and SharePoint/Technical SMEs to ensure training and learning products accurately reflect enterprise KM processes and technical capabilities.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Knowledge of enterprise Knowledge Management principles, practices, and lifecycle methodologies.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and workforce training practices.
- Experience developing and delivering instructor-led, virtual, and blended training.
- Ability to develop curricula, job aids, user guides, presentations, and other learning products.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must possess one of the following:
- Knowledge Management Institute (KMI) Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) or Certified Knowledge Specialist (CKS);
- APQC Certified Knowledge Manager;
- S. Army Knowledge Management Qualification Course (KMQC);
- Air Force KM Air Force Specialty Code (AFSC 3A0XX/3D0XX); or
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Organizational Learning or Library Science.
- Minimum five years of demonstrated experience applying enterprise Knowledge Management principles and practices.
- Minimum three years of experience developing and delivering KM training, curricula, workshops, orientation programs, or learning products.
- Experience developing training materials, job aids, user guides, and other instructional products.
- Experience using an LMS to develop, administer, or track training.
- Must have Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in or a related field.
