Job Description

Insight Global is searching for an IT Specialist Mid to join one of our largest federal clients. Responsibilities will include hut are not limited to:

- Support information engineers across coding, testing, implementation, and documentation efforts.
- Design, develop, test, and implement IT solutions using appropriate software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Partner with customers to understand business needs, technical environments, and strategic objectives.
- Define project scope, plans, requirements, and deliverables; confirm and prioritize them with stakeholders.
- Gather, analyze, and document detailed business and IT requirements to ensure solutions meet customer expectations.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, and conversions.
- Monitor performance using defined metrics and resolve business or technical issues as they arise.
- Prepare and maintain system, security, integrity, and business continuity documentation.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices; contribute to special studies as needed.
- Apply specialized IS expertise (e.g., data engineering, integration, legacy systems, or domain‑specific knowledge).
- Maintain required OEM network support and OS/Application certifications

Compensation:

$28.03/hr to $31.12/hr.


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
