About the role
Insight Xcite is seeking an Expert Network Architect in Sterling, Virginia, to design and modernize enterprise network and cloud infrastructure, define architecture standards and roadmaps, and guide engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
Automated testing, Model-Based Systems Engineering, DevSecOps, web frameworks, Infrastructure as Code, and Agile development.
Location and Travel
Onsite in Sterling. Domestic and international travel may be required throughout the year.
Clearance Requirement
Due to the nature of our work, Insight Xcite does not sponsor or process security clearances at this time.
Applicants must currently possess an active TS/SCI with Full-Scope Polygraph (FSP) to be considered for employment.

The pay range for this role is:
190,000 - 250,000 USD per year (Government Client Site - Sterling VA)
Insight Xcite is seeking an Expert Network Architect in Sterling, Virginia, to design and modernize enterprise network and cloud infrastructure, define architecture standards and roadmaps, and guide engineering teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science and at least 11 years of relevant experience.
- Significant experience with Python, Java, automation, and systems design.
- Deep cloud technology experience sufficient to design solutions for complex applications and IT systems.
- Experience creating architecture designs, standards, high-level specifications, and strategic technology roadmaps.
- Systems Engineering Lifecycle (SELC) experience and ability to evaluate emerging technologies and guide engineering decisions.
- Knowledge of modern scripting/software languages, configuration management tools such as Puppet, Salt, Terraform, or Chef, and containers such as Docker and Kubernetes.
