Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
The Senior Frontend Developer provides technical leadership for the architecture, design, and implementation of complex enterprise web applications. The developer establishes frontend architecture and development standards and leads the development of scalable, secure, accessible, and high-performance user experiences.
Responsibilities:
• Architect and lead development of complex enterprise web applications and user interfaces.
• Establish frontend architecture, technology selections, reusable component frameworks, coding standards, and development patterns.
• Design scalable frontend applications using modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or comparable technologies.
• Develop sophisticated user interfaces integrating multiple backend services, APIs, data sources, and enterprise platforms.
• Design application state-management, authentication, authorization, error-handling, and data-management strategies.
• Establish frontend security practices addressing common web application vulnerabilities and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Lead implementation of responsive, accessible, and high-performance user experiences.
• Establish automated frontend testing strategies and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze and optimize application performance, scalability, browser compatibility, and resource utilization.
• Lead integration of frontend applications with microservices, APIs, identity platforms, and enterprise data services.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews and establish quality standards for frontend development.
• Troubleshoot complex application defects and performance or integration issues.
• Mentor Mid-Level and junior developers and provide technical leadership to frontend development teams.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers, software architects, backend developers, DevOps engineers, cybersecurity personnel, testers, and government stakeholders.
• Evaluate emerging frontend technologies and recommend solutions based on mission, usability, security, maintainability, and performance requirements.
• Lead technical demonstrations and contribute to system architecture, technical documentation, and development planning.
Required Qualifications:
• 8–12 years of experience in frontend or full-stack software development.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering complex enterprise web applications.
• Advanced proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Advanced experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, or comparable technologies.
• Demonstrated experience designing frontend architecture, reusable component libraries, application state management, and API integrations.
• Strong knowledge of web application security, accessibility, performance optimization, and automated testing.
• Demonstrated ability to establish technical standards and mentor development personnel.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification required.
• Must hold Top Secret security clearance. Counterintelligence polygraph desired.
