Technical Intelligence Specialist
Location: Hanscom AFB, MA
Clearance: Active Top Secret required

Position Overview
SSi is seeking a Technical Intelligence Specialist to support the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center (AFNWC) and NCW Integration Division at Hanscom AFB. This position will provide technical and intelligence analysis supporting major acquisition programs, with a focus on mission worthiness assessments, strategic communications, and identifying intelligence requirements throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Provide all-source threat intelligence supporting Mission Worthiness Assessments.
Conduct research and analysis in support of AFNWC/NC intelligence requirements.
Prepare technical briefings, reports, and presentations for government and senior leadership.
Participate in Intelligence Community communities of interest related to strategic communications.
Provide systems engineering and technical analysis inputs supporting major acquisition decisions.
Identify intelligence requirements early in the acquisition lifecycle to help minimize cost, schedule, and performance risks.
Apply predictive statistics and analytical techniques to support intelligence and acquisition assessments.
Interpret systems engineering models and technical information associated with complex platforms and systems.
Apply knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum and wave propagation theory to technical and intelligence analysis.
Collaborate with engineering, acquisition, intelligence, and government stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
Active Top Secret clearance and U.S. citizenship.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, intelligence, mathematics, statistics, or another related technical field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience supporting engineering and/or acquisition programs.
Experience providing technical analysis or systems engineering-level input in support of acquisition decisions.
Ability to identify and assess intelligence requirements and associated technical risks.
Demonstrated experience using predictive statistics or quantitative analytical methods.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and its advanced functions; experience developing macros is a plus.
Ability to understand and interpret systems engineering models.
Knowledge of the electromagnetic spectrum and wave propagation.
Exceptional attention to detail and strong process orientation.
Excellent written, verbal, and briefing skills.
Comfortable presenting technical information to senior leaders.
Willingness to travel approximately 2–4 times per year for up to one week at a time within CONUS.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Python and/or R.
Experience supporting Air Force or DoD acquisition programs.
Previous experience within the Intelligence Community.
Experience with strategic communications, threat intelligence, or mission analysis.
Familiarity with systems engineering, technical intelligence, or acquisition risk analysis.
