POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):
Shields Point, LLC a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC has an opportunity for a Security Manager in Colorado Springs, CO. We are looking for someone that can demonstrate the ability to develop and implement a multi-faceted security program for large government contracts involving personnel (government and contractor), facility, and/or information system security.
Pay Range: $65,000 to $85,000 Annually

We are looking for someone that can demonstrate the ability to develop and implement a multi-faceted security program for large government contracts involving personnel (government and contractor), facility, and/or information system security.
- Prepare and process incoming Visit Authorization Requests (VARS) for tenant command within collateral and SCI channels
- Validate clearances/accesses and prepare and process outgoing VARs
- Maintain records of incoming/outgoing VARs in accordance with established practice
- Conduct Personnel Security functions
- Conduct Tier 1 personnel security reviews
- Complete and coordinate access request packages for access authorization authority
- Create and process waiver packages, to include suspense tracking until completed
- Create and manage personnel folders
- Prepare and maintain AF Form 2587, Security Termination Statement
- Prepare and maintain all AF Form 2586, Unescorted Entry Authorization Certificates
- Prepare and maintain AF Form 2583, Request for Personnel Security Actions
- Coordinate SCI VARs with SSO
- During security inspections, provide requested documentation or escort inspectors
- Assist the Government in managing the Antiterrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) program
- Provide requested data or execute directed checklists during SBD-41 exercises
- Provide security related administrative support, including creating a file plan for all monitored functions and conducting badge audits
- Assist the Government in administering the Emergency Management Program, to include providing assistance in performing Emergency Management inspections, Evacuation Drills, Active Shooter Scenarios, and other required annual drills.
- Create, update and distribute entry authority lists
- Prepare classified material for shipment and prepare appropriate forms (AF Forms 310 and 12)
- Review documents for proper security classification markings and provide guidance for proper overall classification issues
Pay Range: $65,000 to $85,000 Annually
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree in security related field or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of personnel security experience at the collateral, SCI and/or SAP levels.
- Knowledge of DoD and USSF Security directives, policies and procedures.
- Current/active DoD Top Secret/SCI security Clearance
- This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need.
