Job Description
Peerless is seeking an individual with a current TS/SCI clearance who is a highly skilled and motivated Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) engineer. This position will develop discriminative and generative AI/ML models, coordinate with several key customers, develop both user interfaces and interfaces for the exchange of metadata as well as develop an automated process for the NASIC workforce to gain access to LLM models in coordination with the AI/ML Services Product Owner and SMEs. This is an in-person job in Dayton Ohio, relocation assistance possible.

- Develop discriminative and generative AI/ML models to directly support NASIC's analytic mission using resources in coordination with the AI/ML Services Product Owner, GTM, and SMEs
- Find discoveries focused on AI/ML model utilization, availability, and access and data utilization, availability, and access for AI/ML models.
- Develop user interfaces to enable the exchange of information directly related to AI/ML across NASIC via web applications.
- Architecture, Documentation & Advisory: CONOPS development, S tandard Operating Procedure development and creation, a uthor technical White Papers, p rovide strategic technical recommendations
Required Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Possess and maintain IAT Level II (CompTIA Security+, etc.) certification or higher
- A working knowledge of Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs)
- Experience in applying core Machine Learning methodologies: Regression, Classification, Clustering, Decision Trees, Dimensional Reduction, Neural Networks & Deep Learning, Feature Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages Python, Matlab, C++
- Experience with Machine Learning APIs, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras
- Experience administering at least one of the primary VDI platforms (AVD, AWS Workspaces, Horizon)
- In person in Dayton Ohio-relocation assistance possible
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Motivation to learn new things in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of segments of a project
