Job Description
ARS is seeking a Senior Acquisition Logistician to support the KC-46 WLC program at Wright-Patterson AFB. Seeking an experienced Senior Acquisition Logistician to support the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy for the KC-46 WLC program at Wright-Patterson AFB. The successful candidate will provide senior-level acquisition and sustainment logistics support across the weapon-system life cycle, apply the Air Force's 12 product support elements, develop and review program documentation, evaluate logistics and maintainability requirements, and coordinate integrated logistics support activities involving cost, schedule, performance, readiness, and total ownership cost. Candidate must possess an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include:
- Support the planning, development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive, affordable, and effective systems support strategy throughout the acquisition and sustainment life cycle.
- Develop and review program documentation supporting acquisition and sustainment logistics activities during Materiel Solution Analysis, Technology Maturation and Risk Reduction, Engineering and Manufacturing Development, Production and Deployment, and Operations and Support.
- Apply the Air Force's 12 product support elements when evaluating and coordinating product support requirements and strategies.
- Assist with transportation plan development and Defense Transportation System processes.
- Apply knowledge of Government-Furnished Property and Government-Furnished Equipment purchasing to estimate costs, develop budgets, process purchase documentation, resolve asset-availability issues, and identify opportunities to reduce total ownership cost.
- Plan, manage, and coordinate cradle-to-grave life cycle logistics support by integrating supply, maintenance, procurement, and quality assurance activities required to sustain system fielding.
- Monitor functional and organizational compliance with milestones, performance criteria, support plans, and time-phased schedules; identify conflicting objectives, deficiencies, and schedule risks; and recommend mitigations.
- Review program documents and assess the effects of external actions and competing priorities on development, production, and integrated logistics support; coordinate required actions, schedules, and conflict resolution.
- Apply logistics policy and guidance, including Title 10 United States Code Section 2466, applicable National Defense Authorization Act provisions, Air Force systems, integrated logistics support principles, system life cycle concepts, and contractual processes.
- Support material solution analyses, design reviews, acquisition planning, and the transition of systems into operational use; prepare draft documentation and presentation materials addressing cost, schedule, and performance constraints.
- Identify requirements for funding, manpower, materiel, facilities, services, contract development, and technical support; analyze logistics objectives and establish working relationships among organizations responsible for executing support plans.
- Support logistics and maintainability programs, including product support RAM-C, test and evaluation planning and execution, supportability assessments, and identification of weapon-system logistics requirements and resources.
- Perform budgetary, financial, and life cycle cost analyses and evaluate automated information system hardware and software standardization and compatibility.
- Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, research, and apply logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial data; develop, modify, prepare, or validate documentation for automated logistics, maintenance reporting, and management information systems.
- Manage, monitor, evaluate, and coordinate integrated logistics support implementation and acquisition projects; integrate cross-functional taskings, evaluate program support effectiveness, and provide conclusions and recommendations on matters affecting execution.

Qualifications/ Technical Experience Requirements:
- Must be US Citizen
- Advanced degree (MA/MS) with at least 12 years of experience in the applicable technical or professional discipline, including at least five years of DoD experience; OR bachelor's degree (BA/BS) with at least 15 years of applicable experience, including at least five years of DoD experience; OR at least 20 years of directly related experience with applicable certifications, including at least eight years of DoD experience.
- Possess an active Secret clearance.
- Recognized senior-level expertise in acquisition logistics, with the ability to independently perform complex tasks and oversee the efforts of junior and journeyman personnel.
- Advanced knowledge of life cycle logistics, integrated logistics support, the Air Force's 12 product support elements, sustainment planning, and applicable DoD and Air Force logistics policies and practices.
- Working knowledge of product support RAM-C, test and evaluation, logistics and maintainability planning, Government-Furnished Property and Government-Furnished Equipment, transportation planning, budgetary and life cycle cost analysis, and automated logistics or maintenance data systems.
- Ability to analyze cost, schedule, performance, readiness, and supportability information; resolve competing priorities; and communicate recommendations effectively across program office, enterprise, staff, Government, and contractor organizations.
