Position Overview The Garrett Group is seeking a highly qualified Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) Planner to provide operational-level expertise in electromagnetic warfare (EW) across air, land, sea, and space domains. Ideal candidates possess significant operational experience, advanced EW education, and familiarity with joint planning processes. This role supports integrated planning, execution, and assessment of Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (EMSO) in support of joint and combined missions.


Key Responsibilities • Develop, integrate, and assess Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO) plans within the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP). • Provide subject matter expertise in Electromagnetic Warfare (EW) principles, theory, capabilities, and operational employment. • Coordinate EW requirements across air, land, sea, and space domains to support joint mission objectives. • Analyze Electromagnetic Support (ES), Electromagnetic Attack (EA), and Electromagnetic Protect (EP) requirements and incorporate them into operational planning. • Support Offensive and Defensive Space Control planning, including EW activities associated with space-based systems. • Deliver detailed EW input for operational-level planning documents, concepts of operations (CONOPS), and decision support tools. • Advise leadership and supported commands on EW capabilities, limitations, and risk considerations. • Collaborate with joint, interagency, and multinational partners to ensure synchronized EMSO integration.


Minimum Qualifications


• At least five years of operational experience in electromagnetic warfare, including practical application of EW principles and theory.


• Experience with the Joint Operation Planning Process (JOPP). • Completion of Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) or equivalent operational-level planning experience.


• Operational experience in air, land, or sea-based EW with specialization in ES, EA, or EP.


• Operational experience in EW associated with space, with specialization in Offensive Space Control and/or Defensive Space Control.


Preferred Qualifications


• Prior service as an Air Force, Marine Corps, or Navy Electromagnetic Warfare Officer (EWO).


• Graduate of a Weapons School program.


• Comparable advanced operational experience such as Test Pilot School or Operations Test & Evaluation.
