Job Description
SMX is seeking a Senior SharePoint Developer to architect, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint environments supporting Knowledge Management, the Analyst Production Toolkit, Control Access Programs, and PRESS Business Analytics. The developer will also migrate legacy workflows to Power Automate/Power Apps, implement secure access controls and DIA-compliant governance, and produce UI/UX standards, documentation, and SOPs for site owners and end users.
This is a full-time onsite position in Ft. Meade, MD.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain SharePoint sites associated with Knowledge Management, Analyst Production Toolkit, Control Access Program, and PRESS Business Analytics.
- Architect, deploy, and maintain custom SharePoint environments supporting Knowledge Management, the Analyst Production Toolkit, Control Access Programs (CAP), and PRESS Business Analytics
- Migrate legacy workflows to automated Power Automate / Power Apps solutions to optimize intelligence analyst production lifecycles
- Structure SharePoint lists, libraries, and taxonomy schemas to feed operational data into PRESS Business Analytics dashboards
- Implement granular access controls, security group governance, and Active Directory integration to protect sensitive Control Access Program repositories
- Apply DoD and DIA data governance, information management, and compliance standards across all managed sites
- Produce UI/UX design standards, technical documentation, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for site owners and end-users
Required Skills, Experience & Education
- Duty Locations: ACIC (Fort George G. Meade, MD) and DIA HQ (Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C.)
- Security Clearance: TS/SCI (Polygraph eligible / must submit if requested)
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Knowledge Management, or a related discipline
- Experience Required: 4 to 6 years of specialized experience in SharePoint ecosystems (SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Platform), with at least 2 years focused on enterprise content management and structural taxonomy design
- Proficiency in the SharePoint Framework (SPFx) for building custom client-side web parts and application customizers
- Advanced command of the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) for complex workflow automation and custom application forms
- Strong background in web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and SharePoint REST APIs / Microsoft Graph API
- In-depth understanding of enterprise SharePoint architecture: Hub Sites, Site Collections, Content Types, Managed Metadata, and Term Store services
- Experience querying project management and IT service management APIs (Jira, Git, ServiceNow) to extract operational metrics
