Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Military Modernized GPS Cryptography Expert to join our team. This critical role involves working on cutting-edge GPS cryptography systems for military applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cryptographic principles, GPS signal structure, and modern cryptographic protocols used in military systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cryptographic algorithms for GPS signal authentication and integrity
- Analyze and mitigate potential vulnerabilities in GPS cryptography systems
- Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to integrate cryptographic solutions into GPS systems
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on cryptographic implementations
- Develop and maintain cryptographic key management systems for GPS applications
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on cryptographic standards and best practices
- Support the development of new cryptographic protocols for next-generation GPS systems
- Document cryptographic designs, implementations, and security analyses
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cryptographic systems design and implementation
- In-depth knowledge of cryptographic algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC, etc.) and their applications
- Experience with GPS signal structure, GPS vulnerabilities, and countermeasures
- Strong understanding of cryptographic protocols and their security properties
- Experience with cryptographic libraries and tools (OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with military-specific cryptographic standards and protocols
- Knowledge of GPS signal processing and modulation techniques
- Experience with hardware security modules (HSMs) and secure enclaves
