QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

Duties

• You will serve as a technical expert, reviewing and approving documentation changes for missile and weapons systems.
• You will develop and manage surveillance programs to evaluate contractor product assurance and manufacturing systems.
• You will lead quality investigations into processing anomalies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• You will act as the primary government acceptance authority for missile, launcher, and guidance components.
• You will monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with all contractual quality and safety requirements.

• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
• This position is subject to provisions of the Nuclear Weapons Personnel Reliability Program (PRP).

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or NH-02 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate applying quality assurance principles such as technical documentation review, process monitoring, anomaly investigation, and final hardware acceptance to complex weapons systems like missiles, launchers, or guidance systems.
