SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER

The company is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to provide SETA support at Ft. Gordon, GA.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor network engineering performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS).
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes and security configurations.
• Monitor system resource utilization, trending, and capacity planning.
• Work within established configuration and change management policies to ensure awareness, approval and success of changes made to the network infrastructure.
• Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's Degree in engineering or computer science
• Minimum of 10 years of experience supporting DoD programs (two additional years of experience in industry may be substituted for 1 year of DoD experience up to 7 credits; post-secondary degree may be substituted for 1 year of experience)

SECURITY CLEARANCE
• Active DoD Top Secret/SCI w/Poly clearance required

TRAVEL
• Some travel may be required.
