Role Description:
A Technology Instructor is needed to join a high-performing Agile team operating within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in support of a complex, fast-paced program. In this role, the selected candidate will analyze, design, develop, implement, and maintain technical training solutions for enterprise server, network, and platform environments. The candidate will support the creation and delivery of certification-focused training programs, Written Course of Instruction (WCI) materials, and other technical learning products, while also performing task analysis, content development, course maintenance, and instructional delivery to meet program requirements.

Pay Rate:
In compliance with Maryland's Equal Pay for Equal Work law, the annual base salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000. This range represents the base pay for this role and is provided in accordance with Maryland's requirements to disclose compensation in job postings. Please note that actual compensation may vary based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, skills, internal equity, and market conditions. In addition to base salary, candidates hired into this position may be eligible for a hiring bonus of $10,000.00, subject to applicable contingencies and Navstar policy.

Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain instructor-led and blended learning solutions.
- Develop technical training content supporting server, network, and platform administration requirements.
- Deliver competency-based training for users of technical systems using a variety of instructional methods and learning technologies.
- Analyze engineering documentation, system specifications, technical manuals, and operational procedures to identify training needs.
- Develop lesson plans, instructor guides, student guides, job aids, laboratory exercises, assessments, and performance support materials.
- Conduct training effectiveness evaluations and maintain related metrics and reporting.
- Support course validation, pilot delivery, configuration management, and content updates.
- Maintain WCI products and associated instructional documentation.
- Coordinate training product development activities with engineering, technical writing, and program support teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- To be eligible for this position you must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- At least 12 years of relevant experience in technical training, instructional delivery, curriculum development, and/or technology-focused education, with experience supporting enterprise IT, server, network, and platform environments.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in instructional systems design, curriculum development, or technical training development.
- Experience developing technical training solutions for enterprise IT, networking, server administration, or similar technology environments, preferably in a collaborative team setting.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server administration, including Windows Server 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Working knowledge of Linux system administration.
- Experience delivering instructor-led technical training using multiple applications or platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- In-depth experience developing technical documentation, training materials, and instructional content.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent development efforts in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Adult Learning, Education, Technical Communication, Curriculum Development, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), Federal Government, or contractor-led training programs.
- Experience developing and delivering technical training for enterprise IT environments.
- Knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including firewalls, load balancers, intrusion detection systems/network intrusion detection systems (IDS/NIDS), network address translation (NAT), port address translation (PAT), virtual local area networks (VLANs), access control lists (ACLs), and cloud networking architectures.
- Experience with Cisco Nexus and Cisco Catalyst platforms.
- Experience troubleshooting enterprise servers, systems, and network infrastructure.
- Experience managing training development projects across the full Instructional Systems Development lifecycle.
- Experience developing technical publications, user guides, operational procedures, requirements documentation, and training manuals.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, Adobe Creative Cloud, Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate, or similar development tools.
- Familiarity with virtualization, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data center technologies.
