Summary

TTG Solutions is seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer to ensure the seamless operation and security compliance of applications infrastructure across all networks. The candidate will play a crucial role in implementing technical precepts and contributing to a 24/7 on-call rotation to support our growing infrastructure needs.

Description

- Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
- Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plans.
- Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiency.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network components.
- Collaborate closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and support.
- Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementations.

Experience Level

Mid 3 years of unrelated experience = 1 year of related experience. Bachelors preferred. Master's degree = 1 year of additional related experience. 3 certifications and/or other applicable credentials = 1 year of additional related experience.

Requirements: 4-7 years experience

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in system engineering, testing, or DevOps roles
• Proven experience configuring CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools
• Strong working knowledge of Jenkins, Linux/Unix, version control (Git), and scripting languages (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

Optional Skills

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with test frameworks
• Strategic thinking and big-picture perspective
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• A passion for IT and continuous learning

Clearance

This position requires an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Benefits

Benefit	Details
Base Salary	$166,000 - $201,000
PTO	30 days annual PTO, which includes holidays.
Retirement	15% company retirement contribution. No match required. Vesting period is 50% per year over 2 years.
Paid Benefits	Company pays all insurance expenses up to 8% of base pay. If your insurance expenses are less that that, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonuses	3% to 5% annual bonuses.
Cell Phone Stipend	$100 monthly phone expense reimbursement.
Training Budget	3 paid training days + $2,500 training budget
New Hire Bonus	$5,000 new hire bonus

Total compensation is the total combination of salary, benefits, retirement, bonuses, etc... and it is calculated using the following formula:

Benefits Budget	$40,200	20% company paid Individual Benefits Account (12% for 30-days PTO, 8% for Insurances). If your insurance or PTO expenses are less than this, we bonus the difference to you.
Annual Bonus	$10,050	Annual bonus, 3% to 5% on average.
Training Budget	$2,500	Annual training budget.
Training Hours	$2,300	3 paid days for training.
Phone Stipend	$1,200	$100 monthly cell phone stipend.
