Job Description
We're looking for a Senior Systems Administrator to support mission-critical applications and infrastructure for the DIA. This is a hands-on Linux administration role where deep experience supporting enterprise systems will be especially valuable. Oracle experience is highly desired, particularly for environments supporting established and legacy applications.

This is a full-time onsite position supporting operations at DIA HQ in Washington, DC, Reston, VA, or College Park, MD.
A recent CI Poly is preferred to help support onboarding timelines.

What You'll Work With
- Application technologies: Java, JPA, JAX-RS, JCE, Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, Apache Ant, Apache HTTPD, and Apache Tomcat
- Databases: Apache Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and OracleDB
- Platforms and security: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7/8/9, FIPS, SELinux, firewalld, fapolicyd, and general Linux system administration
What You'll Bring
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor's degree at minimum; a Master's degree is preferred
- Security+ certification
- Strong Linux and systems administration experience
- Active TS/SCI with CI Poly is preferred. For the right candidate, an active TS/SCI without a CI Poly may be sufficient. Candidates with Poly credentials will be prioritized.
- Oracle experience is highly desired
- Experience with cloud computing, cybersecurity, and SQL is highly desired
