Who May Be Considered:
Individuals who have obtained a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution, within the previous 2 years.
OR
Veterans (as defined in 5 U.S.C. 2108) who were unable to apply within 2 years of obtaining a qualifying Associates, Bachelor's, Master's, Professional, Doctorate, Vocational or Technical degree or certificate from a qualifying educational institution due to their military service obligation. Veterans have a full 2-year eligibility period to apply upon his/her release or discharge from active duty. The eligibility period for veterans must be within 6 years of degree completion. You MUST provide your DD-214 to support this claim.
In addition to the Eligibility requirement your resume must demonstrate the following Qualifying Experience:
Your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.

- As a participant in the Recent Graduates Program, you will receive both formal and on-the-job training to develop the required knowledge and skill to successfully perform the duties of the position.
- Analyzes technical and/or administrative personnel programs which support mission requirements and determines program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Participates in or conducts studies/surveys, analyzing findings and making recommendations which support assigned mission.
- Participates in long-range personnel planning in support of assigned DISA programs (planning includes tracking, consolidating, and coordinating available resources relating to assigned programs).
- Exhibits skill in all phases of document preparation and processing, including use of word processing systems, graphics, electronic mail, and desktop publishing.

- For the GG-05 position, qualifying experience is defined as: Conducting routine administrative and program support tasks; utilizing database software and spreadsheets to track, input, and organize program data; reviews records for administrative completeness, identifies clear discrepancies, and prepares preliminary summaries, draft emails, or simple tables to assist senior analysts in monitoring program operations.
- For the GG-07 position, qualifying experience is defined as: Performing program analysis by extracting, gathering, and compiling quantitative and qualitative data from to track program performance; compare findings against historical metrics or standard operating procedures (SOPs) to identify variances, drafts preliminary analytical reports; and recommends routine procedural updates to support management decision-making.
- For the GG-09 position, qualifying experience is defined as: Independently conduct program evaluations, analyzing qualitative and quantitative data to assess program effectiveness, resource utilization, and operational efficiency; formulates formal corrective action plans, drafts standard operating procedures (SOPs), prepares formal briefings, and presents technical recommendations to senior leadership to improve overall mission execution.

- Substitution of education for experience at the 05 grade level: Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a directly related field.
- Substitution of education for experience at the 07 grade level: Bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement or 1 academic year of graduate education (or law school, as specified in qualification standards or individual occupational requirements). Superior Academic Achievement: S.A.A. is based on (1) class standing, (2) grade-point average, or (3) honor society membership.
- Substitution of education for experience at the 09 grade level: Completion of a Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D.
- Qualifying Education Institution: Any of the following educational institutions or curricula that have been accredited by an accrediting body recognized by the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Education
- Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services at the time of application. .
