FTS has an opportunity for Strategic Outreach Lead in Chantilly, VA.

The Strategic Outreach Lead provides SETA services to an IC customer responsible for conducting satellite design, development, test and operations.  

Responsibilities

• 
  Develop documents and briefings to communicate program/project status; brief customer and industry as required
  
• 
  Provide acquisition support to include programmatics (budgets, schedules), contracts (SOWs, CDRLs, RFPs), and source selection efforts as needed
  
• 
  Support engagements through strategic communication methods; coordinate with organizational stakeholders
  
• 
  Review and assess trade studies for potential use to support government pursuits
  
• 
  Provide technical review and assessment of program development and readiness activities
  

Required Skills/Qualifications

• 
  TS/SCI with polygraph
  
• 
  BS/BA degree in a related discipline
  
• 
  10+ years' relevant experience
  
• 
  Experience providing acquisition support to include working budgets, schedules, contracts (drafting SOWs, CDRLs, RFPs), and supporting source selection efforts
  
• 
  Demonstrated familiarity of spacecraft technologies, concepts, and systems
  
• 
  Strong interpersonal skills with effective technical writing and briefing skills
  
• 
  Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic setting
  
• 
  Experience interacting with government agencies to include the NRO and DoW
  
• 
  Strong working knowledge of MS office applications, especially Power Point
  

Desired Skills/Qualifications

• 
  BS STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) in engineering discipline
  

Expected Salary Range: $145,000 - $172,000 per year. Placement within the range is determined by qualifications, job-related criteria, experience, internal equity and market considerations.
