Security Specialist (DGS-1) - Langley AFB, VA

Job Description:

Perform customer-prescribed entry control functions and produce entry control credentials. Create training aids, provide security briefings, and track security training among personnel holding collateral and SCI clearances. Other duties as required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Create training aides and provide security briefings to personnel holding collateral and SCI clearances
• Track all security training on personnel within controlled area
• Perform facility entry control functions into controlled area and produce entry control badges.
• Maintain Defense Information System for Security (DISS) to ensure currency of controlled area personnel and send clearances for personnel who are going temporary duty (TDY) to other locations
• Verify visitor and conference attendee clearances, to include foreign nation clearances via DISS and Scattered Castles
• Maintain personnel security folders and file plans
• Participate in the Government's in-house and web-based security training program under the terms of the contract
• Other duties as required

Required Qualifications

• Three years' experience in an SCI environment.
• Understanding of SCI and SCIF security principles
• Experience with DISS
