• Execute employee IT onboarding and offboarding actions, including account creation, permissions, and equipment, and ensure new or transferred employees have required technology and telecommunications support.
• Administer user accounts and permissions in Active Directory and other assigned applications in accordance with security policy.
• Maintain a current knowledgebase and inventory of NRLFO hardware and software to support maintenance, enhancements, and refresh cycles.
• Facilitate equipment delivery, asset tracking, installation requests, installation progress, product documentation, driver maintenance, and end-user feedback.
• Assist with approval, installation, configuration, patching, and ongoing support of software applications and workstations, documenting approvals, testing results, and version changes.
• Assist, coordinate, or develop solutions for connectivity and configuration issues involving non-enterprise systems.
• Provide or coordinate specialized training for unique hardware or software when required.
• Monitor open NRLFO Remedy tickets and assist with tracking, prioritization, coordination, and resolution to support established service-level agreements.
• Identify IT-related trends and recurring problems that affect employee productivity, recommend solutions, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Develop, assist with, and implement initiatives to streamline NRLFO IT-related processes using common NNL processes and systems.
• Coordinate IT support for project-oriented requests and provide recommendations on technologies that improve user efficiency and effectiveness.
• Coordinate or provide software-application development support when assigned.
• Support telecommunications scheduling, troubleshooting, and configuration for voice, data, and video capabilities, including telephones, voice mail, audio conferencing, iPhones, network connectivity, videoconferencing units, and webcams.
• Build, maintain, review, and regularly update documentation tracking IT tasks, projects, initiatives, priorities, progress, deadlines, and completion status.
• Interface with NRLFO IT Branch, Business Management Branch, and NNL IT personnel to coordinate priorities, initiatives, projects, and issue resolution.
• Provide weekly briefings to NRLFO IT managers covering project status, risks, delays, and mitigation plans.
• Develop, maintain, and document version-controlled IT policies, processes, procedures, SOPs, end-user documentation, and knowledgebase updates on a monthly cycle or as significant changes occur.
• Prepare bi-weekly reports documenting IT issues received, resolved, and outstanding, including resolution times relative to established service levels.
• Maintain installation, configuration, support, connectivity, and telecommunications records sufficient to support quality assurance and auditability requirements.
Required Qualifications
