Raytheon Company is looking for an experienced Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology (AT) Team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this role, you'll be working with internal research and development projects (IRAD), capital projects and universities. You'll create and execute Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure.

This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. In this role you will be taking a proactive stance in supporting ,the technical area directors (TAL's) and the principal investigators (PI's) with material procurements, delivery and movement between business units.

This position is an onsite role.

What You Will Do:
  • Developing and executing Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans.
  • Assisting with the review and SCM inputs of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Generating Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and obtaining and understanding supplier proposals/quotes.
  • Creating Request for material, and short text purchase requests (RFM/STPR)
  • Driving Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management.
  • Being familiar with and reference applicable policies and procedures to perform MPM tasks.
  • Working closely with production control and procurement to orchestrate tasking handoffs.
  • Working closely with the engineering teams for any supply chain requests.
  • Facilitating the creation or updates of PIA's and/or NDA's for new suppliers.
  • Working closely with AT IRAD Procurement to streamline the cycle time for PO placement.
  • Ability to travel 10%


Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
  • Experience in SAP and familiarity with MRP supply and demand.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.


Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related.
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs).
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Ability to support complex product development efforts.
  • Excellent reporting/communication skills and ability to demonstrate RTX Leadership Behaviors.
  • Experience in a matrixed organizational structure.
  • Experience in material requirements planning (MRP) and/or Logistics.
  • MPM level 3 or 4 certification.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
