Job Description
Insight Global is hiring multiple Radar and Radio Frequency Systems Engineers to join our team supporting a newly awarded Program in Linthicum Maryland.
This position is based out of Linthicum, MD and will be 100% on-site. All candidates must have a minimum of a Secret Clearance to be considered for the role.
Selected Systems Engineer you will be primarily engaged in the development and fielding of systems for advanced Radar and RF Systems and Subsystems. You will work early in the system lifecycle by developing parametric representations, visualizations, and data-driven analyses to support sensor requirements definition and use case validation. Beyond the analysis and design phases, you will also be involved in integrating sensor modes and trackers, transitioning from digital simulation environments to sensor labs and our fleet of specially modified test aircraft. Throughout this process, you will engage with customers to balance their functional and performance requirements with other sensor functionalities, enabling true multi-function operation.
Minimum job Requirements Include:
- Bachelors Degree and 5 years of experience, Masters and 3 years of experience, or No Degree and 9 years of Experience in Systems Engineering.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Clearance
- Experience designing and engineering Radar, RF, Sensors, EW, or similar type systems
- Experience developing and applying models in MATLAB, Python, or C/C++
- General experience in System Architecture and Concept Development to establish clear project frameworks
- Experience performing testing and/or analysis to assess system capabilities and effectiveness
Preferred Qualifications, but not required:
• Familiarity with 1 or more RF sensing modalities and their applications
• Experience with digital signal processing
Insight Global is hiring multiple candidates for these roles and exact pay will vary based on candidates experience, depth of knowledge, area of expertise, and clearance level. However, we anticipate paying 175K - 250K for these roles, as well as provide a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental and 401K Benefits.
