Overview

LMI is seeking a Customer Engagement Officer to support a federal government customer recognized as a leader in online publishing. The selected candidate will enhance customer engagement, promote the customer's online publishing brand, and serve as a bridge between users, content contributors, IT support, and leadership. This position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph and relevant exposure to U.S. foreign policy and national security counterterrorism objectives.

Responsibilities

The Customer Engagement Officer will:
  • Recommend process changes to enhance overall production system quality while also identifying and helping to remediate quality deficiencies.
  • Promote awareness of the customer's brand and its role as a leader in online publishing.
  • Develop strategies and implement plans to strengthen interaction between the customer's online platform, its content contributors, and its customers.
  • Provide web application support to users as needed, bridging gaps in the support already provided by other IT support components and coordinating responses with those components as necessary.
  • Increase visibility of the program through management engagement in community, academic, conference, and public forums.
  • Increase knowledge of the application through focused and customized educational seminars, briefings, and demonstrations/instructions/tutorials.
  • Advocate customer needs and provide customer feedback to leadership to shape the program's evolution.
  • Manage multiple concurrent customer engagement and support efforts to successful completion, adjusting priorities as mission needs change.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and a high-quality user experience.


Qualifications

  • Have experience with Microsoft Word, including the Track Changes function.
  • Have previous experience using PDF files.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to successfully serve in a customer service-focused role.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to successfully manage concurrent projects to completion and to adjust priorities as mission needs change.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to learn and apply new skills independently.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Have relevant exposure to U.S. foreign policy and national security counterterrorism objectives.
  • Have a security clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph.

Target salary range: $140,000 - $215,000
