Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ CI Polygraph to be considered.
Architect scalable solutions for a rapidly growing, petabyte-scale data lake. We are seeking an AWS Solutions Architect with deep expertise in Aurora PostgreSQL to drive complex schema normalization, manage high-volume data onboarding, and transition container workloads from EKS to ECS/Fargate.
Summary:
• Provide AWS solutions architecture and Aurora PostgreSQL database management to support a petabyte-scale data lake.
• Manage and scale containerized environments across Amazon EKS and ECS/Fargate using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Assist with security control implementations for ATO compliance and guide engineering teams on modern CI/CD pipelines.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 7+ years
• Total Compensation: $382k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Manage Aurora PostgreSQL scaling and data normalization across numerous disparate schemas for a petabyte-scale data lake.
• Assist with security controls management in support of ATO requirements for sensitive data.
• Coach and guide junior engineering teams on modern CI/CD workflows and deployment practices.
• Help expand container orchestration and deployments from Amazon EKS into ECS/Fargate.
• Provide embedded cloud consulting and escalate complex technical issues to engineering support channels.
• Apply deep hands-on expertise in AWS, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes.
