Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Sensitive Activities Budget Analyst to provide comprehensive budget execution, advisory support, and financial oversight across highly classified programs. This role serves as the primary financial liaison for assigned portfolios, ensuring precise execution, compliance with policy and security requirements, and timely, accurate fiscal reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong DoW and intelligence budgeting expertise, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to operate across multiple security domains with minimal supervision.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Serve as the primary functional point of contact and financial liaison for a sensitive program or portfolio.

• Provide budget execution support, track fiscal performance, and resolve day-to-day financial issues across diverse program requirements.

• Manage differing program security levels and ensure compliance with all applicable security classification guides.

• Collaborate with internal and external analysts and stakeholders to create, coordinate, and consolidate program review products and budget data for PPBE cycles.

• Provide advice, assistance, and guidance on financial accounting and related information while conducting analyses, reviews, and special studies.

• Utilize budgetary and proprietary automated systems to support execution, monitoring, and reporting of obligations and expenditures.

• Provide detailed updates to government stakeholders on document status and emerging execution issues.

• Extract, track, analyze, reconcile, and summarize financial data from accounting records, reports, and automated systems.

• Process incoming reimbursable documents and review requests for distribution of funds to field organizations.

• Collect and analyze annual funding estimates to support budget formulation and execution planning.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience with Department of War and/or Intelligence community budgets.

• Bachelor's degree - or -Four additional years of relevant experience.

• Knowledge of and ability to interpret budget-related laws, regulations, policies, and methods.

• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with DoW military/civilian personnel and industry partners.

• High degree of originality, creativity, and initiative with minimal supervision.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%

• Strong Microsoft Office skills, including advanced proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
• Ability to work 5 days onsite in the Washington DC area

• Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship)

  • SAF/FM Experience.

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
