- Design and develop backend services and data processing pipelines using modern configuration management and software engineering practices
- Build and maintain APIs and services supporting data ingest, processing, storage, and delivery
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements to existing systems and platforms
- Troubleshoot complex problems and provide technical support for software and application issues
- Recommend and implement improvements to system performance, reliability, and maintainability
- Collaborate with other engineers on the team to sustain and advance the organization's technical capabilities
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- U.S. Citizenship
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, technical training, and work/military experience
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Hands-on experience with modern programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
- Experience building APIs and services using REST and related web technologies
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with Linux (preferred) or Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Git or other source control tools
- Clear communication skills; comfortable working in a small, collaborative team
- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or MapReduce
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- DevOps experience building and deploying infrastructure with tools like Ansible, Jenkins, or CloudFormation
- Experience with ElasticSearch, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, or NiFi
- Prior experience supporting IC or DoD mission environments
