Must currently have and maintain an active TS/SCI level U.S. Government Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
Summary:
• Perform cyber threat hunting, data science analysis, and customer requirements gathering on big data platforms.
• Apply strong cyber security, data science, Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), and networking domain knowledge to support cyber operational teams.
• Convert tools, techniques, and processes into automated capabilities and communicate analytical results using intuitive visualizations.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• 9+ years experience in cyber security operations related fields with Bachelors in Information Technology, Cyber Security or related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
• Total Compensation: $271k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Conduct threat hunt operations on assigned Big Data Platforms and present findings through live interactive sessions.
• Collaborate with customers to define operational requirements, generate use cases, and deliver system training to end users.
• Support analytic requests, perform quality assurance on data, and leverage advanced statistical modeling to uncover threat patterns.
• Utilize query languages such as SQL and KQL, alongside Python, to create dashboards and custom visualizations.
• Maintain situational awareness of emerging cyber threats and assist with threat detection signatures, network traffic analysis, and SIEM/SOAR tool integration.
