Job Description
Duties
As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST - TITLE 5, GS-0343-9, you will review organizational information regarding inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination, reports, regulations, and activity mission statements to identify objectives and priorities regarding stock record operations. Conduct troubleshooting and management studies to ascertain the need for changes in existing management systems or methods of operation. Provide management consulting services to improve operations for the state. Provide liaison assistance to external organizations with responsibility for coordinating their activities with the USPFO. Conduct management studies, prepare documents to present findings identifying and recommending corrective action. Perform supervisory and managerial responsibilities of assigned personnel. Define and interpret governing policies, procedures and regulations. Advise management of operating areas at risk of not achieving desired performance and recommends corrective actions. Develop operating procedures and instructions. Assign and review work to ensures production and accuracy requirements are met. Effect minor disciplinary measures and recommend actions in more serious cases. Identify developmental and training needs of employees. Improve production and develop performance measures, as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least one (1) year experience at the next lower level in the normal line of progression through federal service (GS-07) or equivalent experience in the private or public sector that demonstrates the experience and knowledge of the National Guard organizational structures, functions, procedures, and techniques. Experience analyzing, interpreting and developing policies and procedures of local management pertaining to supply management. Experience reviewing, analyzing, and resolving conflicts ensuring regulatory requirements are still met. Experience properly identifying, maintaining, and protecting official records such as stock records, supply transaction documents, etc.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates, work schedule, and/or hours worked per week for both civilian and military employment. (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only and unspecified work schedule will result in disqualification.
