The salary range for this position is $19.24 to $26.45 per hour.

Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist II will receive, unload, inspect, identify, store, stage, issue, package, label, and ship material.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Will verify material against bills of lading, purchase orders, DD Form 1149s, DD Form 1348-1As, NSNs, NIINs, part numbers, serial numbers, and quantities
- Identify shortages, overages, damage, deterioration, and incorrect material
- Update GCSS-MC and warehouse accountability records
- Maintain locator files, issue documentation, inventory records, and supporting documentation
- Conduct physical inventories, location surveys, recounts, and discrepancy research
- Pull and stage material for customers, shipment, repair, return, or disposal Support excess and obsolete property processing through DLA Disposition Services
- Load and unload trucks
- Operate forklifts, pallet trucks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment
- Assist with shelving assembly, warehouse setup, relocation, and reconfiguration
- Staff the material-issue point and assist customers
- Escort delivery vehicles when required
- Comply with safety, security, PPE, and property-accountability requirements
- May perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous assignments
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse, supply, inventory, logistics, or material-handling experience
- Warehouse, supply, inventory, logistics, or material-handling experience
- DoD or military supply experience preferred
- Familiarity with NSNs, NIINs, serial-number control, and military shipping documentation
- Ability to lift, move, palletize, and handle warehouse material safely
- Forklift license or ability to obtain one before operating equipment
- Valid driver's license when assigned vehicle duties
- Clearance Requirement: Public Trust clearance is required. Personnel may also be required to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC), installation access, and successfully complete a background investigation and suitability determination, as applicable
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate degree preferred
- GCSS-MC experience strongly preferred
