Job Title: Cost Analyst / Strategic Pricing Specialist
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
Onsite: 100% (no remote)
Salary: $120,000 - 150,000; potential flex to $160k
Relocation/Sign-On Bonus: Yes; case by case basis
We are seeking an experienced Cost Analyst or Strategic Pricing Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing cost analysis and pricing strategies for complex projects. You will leverage your expertise to create accurate financial models, provide actionable insights to senior leadership, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop comprehensive Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Independent Cost Estimates (ICEs), and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates using a variety of methodologies.
· Apply knowledge of inflation, basic methodology application, and Department of Work (DoW) Work Breakdown Structure regulatory procedures.
· Provide customized pricing and cost solutions in an agile, fast-paced environment, responding rapidly to program stakeholder requests.
· Collaborate with systems engineers, logisticians, and program managers to translate technical specifications and risks into sound estimating methodologies.
· Collect, verify, and normalize historical data, applying inflation indices, learning curves, and advanced risk/uncertainty distributions.
· Translate complex quantitative data and financial models into clear, concise briefings and reports for senior leadership.
Qualifications:
· Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience preferred.
· Strong DoD cost analysis background.
· Experience with DOD acquisitions
· Experience with DOD pricing
· Ability to contribute with minimal training.
· Secret clearance
· Bachelor's Degree
· Building and maintaining Excel-based cost models
Preferred Qualifications:
· HIGHLY preferred to have experience working directly for the government
· IE- a "GS" position
· Experience with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI or Tableau.
· Knowledge of cost-related Contract Data Requirement List (CDRL) template development and modifications.
