As an Application Engineer, you will work with modern cloud technologies, solve complex problems, and contribute directly to national security. Responsibilities
- Deliver, configure, and sustain secure hosting environments within commercial cloud platforms to support NSA missions.
- Engineer, install, integrate, operate, secure, test, and maintain cloud service provider solutions across the enterprise.
- Provide end-to-end support across network fabrics, including cloud operations, customer help desk assistance, software migration and integration, testing, documentation, security, monitoring, and release/configuration management.
- Provision, operate, and support network infrastructures in environments leveraging PKI, IPSEC, SDN, and VPN technologies.
- Develop and manage networks designed for secure, highly available operations.
- Evaluate, integrate, and implement emerging cybersecurity tools and technologies such as DNS services, routing solutions, load balancers, data flow systems, auditing tools, HIDS/NIDS, antivirus technologies, and more.

- Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
- 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree:
- Education/Experience substitutions: All education and experience must be in a technical field relevant to the role, and all degrees or certificates must be from accredited institutions.
- High School Diploma/GED: 12+ years of relevant experience
- Associate's Degree: 10+ years of relevant experience
- Master's Degree: 6+ years of relevant experience
- Doctorate: 4+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with AWS
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired:
- Experience with Azure
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
