Kentro is hiring for a Security Specialist t o support Kentro and all of our National Defense Cleared contracts. As a Security & Program Coordinator on a cleared site, you will play a crucial role in supporting and assisting in the administration o f programs and operations within a classified environment. You will work closely with program managers, government officials, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective program execution, compliance with security protocols, and adherence to established policies and procedures. Your responsibilities will include managing documentation, coordinating activities, monitoring compliance, and providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
Location: This position will work a hybrid schedule with time on-site at JBAB, DC, or Reston, VA
Compensation Range: The pay range for this position is $125,000- $135,000 annually. Kentro determines compensation by evaluating current government contracting and commercial market conditions, as well as the role's specific requirements. Final salary placement within this range will be based on the candidate's relevant skills, experience, education, certifications, location, and security clearance level, where applicable.

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to program managers and teams, including managing documentation, maintaining files, preparing reports, and coordinating program activities.
- Security Clearance Management: Oversee and maintain security clearance processes and protocols, including managing personnel security clearance paperwork, coordinating with government agencies for clearance requests, and monitoring compliance with security regulations and requirements.
- Coordination and Communication: Facilitate communication and coordination among program stakeholders, including government officials, team members, subcontractors, and other parties. Schedule and organize meetings, prepare meeting agendas and minutes, and maintain effective communication channels to ensure smooth program operations.
- Record Keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, documentation, and databases related to program activities, including contracts, personnel records, financial records, and other program-related information. Ensure proper handling, storage, and dissemination of sensitive and classified information in accordance with security protocols.
- Training and Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding and training of program personnel, including conducting orientation sessions, providing guidance on program requirements and processes, and ensuring compliance with training and certification requirements.
- Research, analyze, and learn about new HRIS Systems and HR policies.
- Consolidate and tech-edit documents for grammar, punctuation, consistency, and formatting.
- Maintain Kentro information and data sites with appropriate documents and information.
- Contribute to security publications, policies, and processes
Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in business administration, management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience working for DOD or the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Proven experience in program administration or related roles, preferably in a classified environment.
- Knowledge of government contracting, security regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Clearances and IC processes.
- Strong time management skills and comfortable working with Government Customers
Clearance Requirement:
- Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility and willing/able to pass a CI Polygraph.
- US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident (Green Card)
