Job Description
Clearance Required: SECRET
Education: MA/MS degree from an accredited college or university
ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college plus 2 years additional work experience in a related field may be substituted for a Master's degree.
Experience: Senior - over 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting NAVAIR and/or the Naval Aviation Enterprise with 3 years of specialized experience with CNAF/CNAFR F-16 concept of operations.
Preferred Experience: NAVAIR/Aviation Logistics, USMC/USN/USAF Aviation Maintenance
Functional Description: Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Assist with the overall logistics management of F-5 AC, equipment, support equipment
- Assist with formulating, revising, and managing the support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirement for the F-5
- Perform analyses and implement corrective actions with an emphasis on improving fleet aircraft readiness
- Assist with coordination of significant and critical tasks such as grounding bulletins, supportability analyses, configuration management, mishap investigations, etc.
- Assist with the enforcement of all logistics policies, procedures, and priorities
- Supply demand planning and forecasting for consumables and repairables
- Identify key readiness degraders and identify mitigation strategies
This position will specifically support the F-5 IPT, directly supporting the F-5 APML.
General Duties: Applies analytic techniques in the evaluation of program/project objectives. Analyzes requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs management, technical, or business case analyses. Applies government-instituted processes for documentation, change control management, and data management. May be required to coordinate and manage meetings in the absence of Team Leads or in conjunction with CORs, Team Leads, and CAS customers. Assist in tracking, analyzing, and managing the progress of contract documents with online management tools. Assist in the analysis, approval, and routing of specific CAS products to effect CAS program activities. Collects, compiles, analyzes, investigates, researches, or applies all fuel related financial data and information. Coordinates and interfaces with fleet points of contact to refine requirements.
Location:
This is an in-person position; however, remote work will be considered for the right candidate

Salary:
The projected salary range for this position is $110,000-$145,000; however, this is not a guarantee of salary. Salary will be set based on experience and contractual requirements.
