The ideal candidate will serve as a technical strategist and mission-focused architect, bringing deep expertise in cybersecurity, system engineering, and multi-domain operational requirements. This role requires a seasoned professional who can engage directly with customers, translate mission needs into technical architecture, guide solution development, and ensure successful delivery of cyber capabilities across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate mission requirements into scalable technical designs that meet DoD, Air Force, and Intelligence Community standards.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to guide solution development from concept through implementation.
• Lead technical discussions with government customers, primes, and mission partners; articulate architecture decisions and solution trade-offs.
• Conduct technology assessments and identify emerging tools, frameworks, and approaches to enhance cyber mission effectiveness.
• Develop system design artifacts including enterprise architectures, capability roadmaps, interface designs, and integration strategies.
• Serve as lead technical author for proposals, whitepapers, and RFI/RFP responses involving cyber solutions.
• Provide oversight on security engineering, compliance, RMF alignment, and cross-domain architectures.
• Ensure solutions meet requirements for scalability, resiliency, performance, and operational suitability in contested environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge-sharing across the cyber engineering organization.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, systems engineering, or cyber solutions development.
• Demonstrated experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community cyber mission programs.
• Expertise in enterprise cyber architectures, defensive cyber operations, zero-trust principles, and cross-domain solutions.
• Strong understanding of RMF, NIST frameworks, cybersecurity standards, and mission assurance requirements.
• Ability to design solutions involving cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, DoD Cloud), virtualized platforms, and secure network environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to brief senior leaders and convey complex technical concepts clearly.
• Active DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility (or ability to obtain or transfer).

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with offensive or defensive cyber missions, cyber tool development, or advanced cyber analytics.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, AWS Solutions Architect, or DoD 8570/8140 advanced certifications.
• Prior experience supporting Air Force Cyber, cyber weapons systems, or multi-domain mission environments.
• Experience leading architecture development across agile, DevSecOps, and CI/CD environments.

What We Offer
• Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits.
• Opportunity to work on mission-critical programs that support national security.
• Collaborative, high-performance environment with space for innovation and career progression.
• Access to advanced tools, technologies, and professional development resources.
