About the Role
The Headquarters Battalion provides administrative services, logistical support, and training for personnel assigned to the higher headquarters, enabling command staff to focus on command and control. In this role, you'll manage the programs that keep that support running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Manage battalion-level programs and initiatives supporting administrative, logistical, and training functions.
- Coordinate program schedules, resources, and deliverables across staff sections.
- Prepare program status reports and briefings for leadership.
- Identify and resolve programmatic risks and issues.
- Support training and readiness-program coordination.
What You'll Need
- Prior program or project management experience within a military or DoD headquarters environment.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and briefing skills across multiple stakeholders.
- PMP certification or equivalent program management training a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project or equivalent).
- Able to work on-site every day — this position is not hybrid or remote.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Must be able to complete a favorable background investigation appropriate to the position within the first week of starting, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within the first two weeks.
- Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.
- Must complete annual threat-awareness and operations-security refresher training (position requires a security clearance).
- Professional appearance and conduct consistent with a military headquarters environment.
- No travel required for this position.
