Position Summary



Bailey Information Technology is seeking a Supply Specialist to support the USARCENT Staff Augmentation Program. The Supply Specialist is responsible for supply accountability, inventory management, and requisition processing in support of unit and command supply operations.



Duties and Responsibilities

• Process, track, and reconcile supply requisitions and receipts using Army supply systems (e.g., GCSS-Army).


• Maintain accountable property records and hand receipts in accordance with AR 710-2 and AR 735-5.


• Conduct and document periodic inventories, cyclic counts, and sensitive item inventories.


• Coordinate with warehouse, property book, and unit supply personnel to resolve discrepancies.


• Prepare and route supply status reports, shortage annexes, and turn-in documentation.


• Support property book officers with equipment fielding, transfers, and disposition actions.


• Maintain warehouse organization, labeling, and storage in accordance with safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred.


• Minimum 2 years of experience in military or DoD supply/logistics operations.


• Working knowledge of Army supply regulations and property accountability procedures.


• Experience with GCSS-Army, PBUSE, or comparable logistics information systems.


• Current Secret security clearance.


• U.S. citizenship required.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting a Combatant Command or Army Service Component Command staff.


• Prior military 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist) MOS experience or equivalent.


• Familiarity with Property Book Unit Supply Enhanced (PBUSE) legacy processes.

Security Clearance Requirement



This position requires a current, active Secret security clearance. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance level for the duration of the assignment in support of USARCENT.



Physical Demands / Work Environment



Work is generally performed in a standard office or garrison environment. May require prolonged sitting, use of a computer, and occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs. Duties may require entry into austere or field environments as mission dictates.
