Power Platform SharePoint Administrator
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Work Type: Full Time
Role Description: The Microsoft Power Platform Administrator / SharePoint Developer will support in delivering technology solutions to enhance the effectiveness of analysts and operational staff. The successful candidate will maintain and enhance existing applications and dashboards built on Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint, while designing and developing new tools that streamline workflows, improve data visibility, and support mission objectives.
This position requires a combination of hands-on technical expertise, analytical problem-solving, and close collaboration with analysts and stakeholders in a high-security, data-driven environment.
Duties:
Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI dashboards.
Design, build, and deploy new Power Apps and Power BI dashboards that meet end-user requirements.
Manage Power Platform environments, connections, permissions, and data gateways.
Develop automation and workflow solutions to streamline processes for client base.
Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices within the Power Platform ecosystem.
Design and deploy new SharePoint solutions integrated with Power Apps and Power Automate.
Ensure reliability, accessibility, and security of SharePoint-based applications and content.
Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Provide user support, documentation, and training for applications and dashboards.
Work with IT security teams to ensure all solutions align with information assurance and cybersecurity standards.
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend continuous improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years of professional experience (master’s degree to sub for YOE)
3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate).
3+ years of experience with SharePoint Online administration and development.
Proven ability to gather and document business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
Strong understanding of data sources (e.g., SharePoint, SQL Server, Excel, Dataverse, APIs).
Experience implementing role-based access control and data security within Power Platform.
Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary Range: $125,000-$175,000 (Compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, skills, education, certifications, seniority, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.)
