About the Role
You'll support USARCENT's coordination with regional partners by managing the disclosure of U.S. military information to foreign governments and international organizations.
What You'll Do
- Review requests for disclosure of classified and controlled unclassified military information to foreign governments and international organizations.
- Apply national disclosure policy and applicable delegation-of-authority guidance to disclosure decisions.
- Coordinate foreign disclosure determinations with G2, strategic plans staff, and higher headquarters as required.
- Maintain foreign disclosure case files and tracking logs.
- Advise staff sections on foreign disclosure policy and procedures for coalition/partner engagements.
What You'll Need
- Prior experience in foreign disclosure, international policy, or security cooperation within a military or DoD setting.
- Working knowledge of national disclosure policy and classification/disclosure marking requirements.
- Strong judgment and attention to detail in applying policy to real-world requests.
- Active SECRET clearance required at minimum — this is sufficient for the role; an interim Top Secret/SCI eligibility does not provide any advantage for this specific position.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
- Must be able to complete a favorable background investigation appropriate to the position within the first week of starting, and obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) within the first two weeks.
- Must complete required security, anti-terrorism, and information assurance training within the first 30 days, and annually thereafter.
- If the position requires a security clearance, must complete annual threat-awareness and operations-security refresher training.
- Professional appearance and conduct consistent with a military headquarters environment.
- No travel required for this position.
