Qualifications
VNE, LLC is looking for a Cleared Logistician IV/ MBPS Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
Experience:
- Ten (10) years with a Master's or (14) years with a Bachelor's degree of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.
- Individual shall have Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Advanced/Level 3; demonstrate/specify equivalent life cycle logistics training; or possess an additional three (3) year (i.e., total 13 years minimum experience with Master's or 17 years with Bachelor's degree) working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
- Proficient utilizing operational inventory management software tools to verify existing inventory levels and generate accurate and automated reports.
- Experience automating logistics reporting to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring.
- Experience shall include at least six (6) years of support with C4ISR or similar systems, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Experience supervising Logistics Specialists. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
- They will also automate logistics reporting as necessary using these software suites to ensure efficient and real-time inventory monitoring.
- Prior experience in Configuration Management and Systems Analysis.
- Windchill / MBPS experience required.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills needed.
- Able to learn and apply new technologies.
- Experience with Navy or Military Logistics / Supply experience.
- Prior Navy experience, beneficial though not required.
- Secret level Clearance required, preferred clearable to the TS/SCI level Clearance.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Tools: Prior database experience, such as Microsoft Power Apps.
- Experience with Configuration Management and Systems Analysis tools.
- Proficient in operational inventory management software tools
- Windchill / MBPS experience required.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 programs: Excel, Power Query, Power BI, Outlook, Word.
- Experience using Jira for task tracking.
Job Description:
- Help to establish CDMD-OA/MBPS data records for various classes of Naval ships.
- Review and contribute to Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
- Perform data validation, analysis, and conversion for submission to CDMD-OA/MBPS.
- Ensure equipment configuration and logistics records in the CDMD-OA/MBPS are current and accurate, to include technical manuals, drawings, Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs), and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRCs).
- Analyze equipment, systems and Hierarchical Structure Codes (HSCs) to ensure proper designation.
- Update and maintain the CDMD-OA/MBPS database with equipment serial numbers.
- Participate in Integrated Product Team (IPT), Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Management Team Meetings, internal and Government-led meetings.
- Coordinate with Planning Yards.
- Provide data calls needed to maintain various US Navy ship classes.
- Provide and perform CDMD-OA/MBPS data validation and end-user access support.
- Work with the team to streamline inefficiencies.
- Contribute to task tracking in Jira.
- Provide support, administration, and configuration management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Essential Duties of the Job:
- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face
